Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antennae announced a digital visa-on-arrival: a QR-code e-permit gradually replaces the paper VOA, with a pilot running at all arrivals terminals of Cairo International Airport from 1 August 2026 (official online channel, a ministry app, and airport self-service kiosks; paper permits remain valid during the trial).
