How to apply

1. Apply on the Government of India's authorised e-Visa portal at indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html. [2]
2. Complete the online application and pay the USD 25 e-Visa fee; the e-Visa is issued by the Bureau of Immigration, Ministry of Home Affairs. [2]
3. If you prefer a regular paper visa, apply instead at an Indian Mission or Post. [2]
4. Never pay an agent or intermediary: the Government of India does not authorise anyone to charge fees for emergency visas, express visas, eVisas or the eArrival card. [1] [2]
