Fees & processing

Visa feeUS$25 — e-Visa

From official-portal extracts (captured ):

  • The e-Visa fee is USD 25.
  • No agent or intermediary is authorised by the Government of India to charge fees for emergency visas, express visas, e-Visas or the e-Arrival card, so pay only through the official portal. [1] [2]

How to apply

  1. Apply for an e-Visa through the official Government of India portal at indianvisaonline.gov.in; the Government does not authorise any agent or intermediary to handle or charge for e-Visas. [1] [2]
  2. Complete and submit the e-Arrival card online within 72 hours before arrival, at boi.gov.in, indianvisaonline.gov.in, or through the official 'Indian Visa Su-Swagatam' mobile app; this is arrival information, not a visa. [5]
  3. Fill in the Self-Declaration Form at airsuvidha.civilaviation.gov.in before reaching the Arrival Immigration Counters. [1]
  4. Present your passport and the printed or digital e-Visa approval letter (ETA) at the arrival immigration counter.

Before you fly

  • Foreign nationals must complete the e-Arrival card within 72 hours before arrival in India. [5]
  • All passengers must fill the Self-Declaration Form before reaching the arrival immigration counters. [1]
  • A valid passport together with a regular visa, e-Visa or OCI/eOCI card is required for entry into India, unless exempted under a bilateral arrangement. [1]
  • Visa on arrival is available only to nationals of Japan, South Korea and certain UAE nationals at selected airports, so it is not an option for Gabonese travellers. [2]

Watch out for

Use only the official portal indianvisaonline.gov.in: the Government of India does not authorise any agent or intermediary to charge fees for emergency visas, express visas, e-Visas or the e-Arrival card. [1] [2]
The e-Arrival card is arrival information only and does not replace a visa; you still need your e-Visa approved before travelling. [5]
The e-Arrival card must be submitted within 72 hours before arrival, so do not complete it earlier than that. [5]
